Orient Overseas Container Line cancels Asia-Europe, transpacific sailings

HONG KONG's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), now a Cosco unit, has withdrawn the following Asia-Europe and transpacific sailings in response to expected low demand, with this advice superseding announcements made on October 14.

On the Asia-North Europe Service, Loop 1, westbound: ETA Shanghai on November 24 in Week 47 - eastbound: ETA Felixstowe on December 25 in Week 52.

Loop 3, westbound: ETA Xiamen on November 6 in Week 45 - eastbound: ETA Hamburg on December 10 in Week 50. westbound: ETA Xiamen on December 11 in Week 50 - eastbound: ETA Hamburg on January 14 in Week 3.

Loop 4, westbound: ETA Xingang on November 7 in Week 45 - eastbound: ETA Southampton on December 15 in Week 50.

Loop 5, westbound: ETA Qingdao on November 17 in Week 46 - eastbound: ETA Rotterdam on December 23 in Week 52.

Loop 6, westbound: ETA Kaohsiung on November 17 in Week 46 - eastbound: ETA Rotterdam on December 25 in Week 52.

Loop 7, westbound: ETA Ningbo on November 17 in Week 46 - eastbound: ETA Antwerp on December 20 in Week 51 - westbound: ETA Ningbo on December 1 in Week 48 - eastbound: ETA Antwerp on January 3 in Week 1 - westbound: ETA Ningbo on December 15 in Week 50 - eastbound: ETA Antwerp on January 17 in Week 3.

In the Asia-West Mediterranean Service, the WM1, westbound: ETA Qingdao on November 25 in Week 48 - eastbound: ETA La Spezia on December 27 in Week 52.

In the Asia-East Mediterranean and Black Sea Service, the EM2, westbound: ETA Qingdao on October 31 in Week 44 - eastbound: ETA Ashdod on November 26 in Week 48 - westbound: ETA Qingdao on November 21 in Week 47, eastbound: ETA Ashdod on December 17 in Week 51 - westbound: ETA Qingdao on December 5 in Week - eastbound: ETA Ashdod on December 31 in Week 1 - westbound: ETA Qingdao on December 19 in Week 51 - eastbound: ETA Ashdod on January 14 in Week 3.

In the transpacific trade, the Pacific North West 2 (PNW2) service will be affected, starting with Northern Jupiter service: ETA Yantian on November 18 Week 47 for eastbound, and ETA Seattle on December 8 in Week 49 for westbound with service resumed in the following week. But cancelled will be ETA Yantian on November 25 in Week 48 for eastbound, and ETA Seattle on December 15 in Week 50 for westbound.

The Belita service, ETA Yantian on December 2 in Week 49 for eastbound, and ETA Seattle on December 22 in Week 51 for westbound will be cancelled. But service resumes with CMA CGM Missouri (MIS) 016E/W: ETA Yantian on December 9 in Week 50 for eastbound, and ETA Seattle on December 29 in Week 52 for westbound.
